The Jets had a first-hand look at the best and worst of Antonio Cromartie long before they acquired the talented but inconsistent cornerback from San Diego early Friday morning.

Of course, they are hoping for more of the former now that Cromartie will be wearing green and white after the Jets dealt a conditional third-round pick in 2011 to the Chargers to obtain him.

On Sept. 22, 2008, Cromartie latched onto a Brett Favre pass that had been juggled by Laveranues Coles and sailed 52 yards for a touchdown, showing off the ballhawking skills that had helped him garner a career-high 10 interceptions and All-Pro honors in 2007.
